The Monett Museum has acquired two display cases from the now-closed Houn' Dawgs Antiques mall in Aurora. The display cases stand on marble bases, matching cases acquired from Krueger's package liquor store in Monett.

Monett Historical Society President Doug Hobson said the cases will be used to expand exhibits at the museum, located at 705 E. Broadway.

The museum is open from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays and 10 a.m.to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
