The Monett track team took first place in the boys and girls division in the 11-team Aurora track meet last Thursday. Results from the event were delayed due to weather at the event and the holiday weekend

"We were able to compete and score points in all of the events," said Monett girls track coach Kelly George. "We ran some of our best times of the season on a cold evening. I am looking forward to the second half of our season."

The Lady Cubs finished with 169 team points. Cassville was second with 132 points, and Aurora took third with 82 points.
