New digs for Monett building inspector's office

Thursday, April 5, 2012

Monett Building Inspector Wade Ennes, installing an electrical connection at his new office at 508 Bond Street in Monet.
Furniture is due in this week for the Monett building inspector's office at 508 Bond St.

Inspector Wade Ennes has been working on installing preliminary wiring to run equipment once the fiber optics lines are installed. Ennes has moved three filing cabinets from the old office of his predecessor, George Rausch, out of the utilities office at Monett City Hall, and has another three cabinets to move out of the city hall basement before his files can be centrally located.

Both Ennes and Jeff Brattin, assistant building inspector, will have offices in the front of the new building.

Ennes hopes to have the new office up and running by the middle of April.
