The annual meeting of the Clear Creek Cemetery of Newton County will be held at 7 p.m. on April 5 at Ritchey Baptist Church fellowship hall.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, Lawrence County Route P will be closed at the railroad crossing north of Verona from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11. Burlington Northern-Santa Fe railroad crews will be repairing the crossing.
The VFW Ladies Auxiliary #4207 will host a game night fundraiser from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 15 at the VFW Post home banquet room, located west of Monett on Highway 60. Proceeds will go toward the LAVFW District #7 Department Line Officers Fund and Auxiliary #4207.
