The Monett High School Class of 1957 will hold a reunion planning meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 at Mocha Jo's, located at 404 Broadway in Monett. For more information, call Sara Parker at 417-342-4243.

Silver Teens will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 5 at the Monett Senior Citizens Center on Dairy Street for a potluck supper. Those attending are asked to bring a dish. For more information, call 235-9978.

The Monett Middle School Parent Support Group will host its final meeting of the year at 6:30 p.m. on March 28. All parents are invited to attend.

Friday night mixed golf league will begin league play on Friday, April 6. Tee-off time is 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. All members and players interested in playing in the league are invited to join. For more information, call 235-5331.

St. Mary's Catholic School in Pierce City will host a Home and School fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30 in the cafeteria. The menu includes all-you-can-eat fried fish, coleslaw, beans, fettuccine Alfredo, tator tots, cornbread and drinks. The cost is $7 for adults, $3 for ages 7-12 and free for age 6 and under.

The Monett Senior Center dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Monday, April 2 at the center, located at 405 Dairy St. The theme will be Easter bonnet dance. Those attending are asked to wear an Easter bonnet or a favorite hat. There will be prizes for the best ladies' and gentlemen's hats. The entertainment will be provided by The Funtimers Band, and admission is $3. Potluck dishes or finger foods are welcome.

Absentee voting for the April 3 general municipal election will continue to be open on Saturday, March 31 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Barry County Clerk's office in Cassville according to Barry County Clerk, Gary Youngblood. A storm spotter and weather awareness education class will be presented by the National Weather Service at 6:30 p.m. on April 5 at The MARC, located 822 W. Mt. Vernon Blvd. in Mt. Vernon. The public is invited, and admission is free.

The 54th annual Wheaton Volunteer Fire Department chicken barbecue has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 25.

OACAC Head Start is accepting enrollment applications for its program beginning in September. Families who meet income guidelines and whose children will be age 3 or 4 before Aug. 1 are eligible to apply. For more information, call 235-3911 or 235-8779.

A fish fry fundraiser will be held at noon on March 30 at the Pierce City Senior Center, located at 104 Locust. The cost is $3.50 for adults over 55 and $4.50 for those under 55. Carry out is $4.50.
