MO Dept of Ag-USDA Market News
Receipts: 418 Last Week: 392 Last Year: 614
Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold fully
steady to 1.00 higher. The offering included a light supply of bred cows and
a moderate supply of cow/calf pairs with the majority of both coming from
a herd dispersal. Temperatures around the 80 degree mark and several inches
of rain last week have got the grass going. Saw some cereal rye yesterday that
had already headed. Supply was light and demand good for slaughter classes.
