Receipts: 392 Last Week: 415 Last Year: 715
Compared to last Monday, slaughter cow sold steady to 1.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 higher. A very high percent of the offering
went to slaughter. Bred cows and cow/calf pairs were almost non-existent.
Producers are looking forward to the rain forecast for the next several
days hoping it will fill some ponds and give the grass a boost. Supply was
light and demand good for slaughter classes.
