Seven women participate in an informal group that meets regularly to paint local scenes or places they have traveled all over the world. Marti Frost, Geri Carey, Kay Stephens, Elner Medlin, Carolyn Grainger, Loretta Hurlbut and Kathy Kennedy have compiled a collection of their works for the month-long feature display.
"Most are oil or pastels," said Shaun Bennett, owner of Denali Dreams. "Most are for sale, although some select portraits and landscapes are not."
Some of the works depict local areas of interest such as a millhouse and mill while others feature landmarks from Arizona, Israel and Africa.
Denali Dreams is open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday. The gallery and coffee shop are also open from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday.
In April, Denali Dreams will host a one-man show featuring the art of Dave Bennett.
