   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 lower and
slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher. Several small dispersals
provided a moderate supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs. Supply was
moderate and demand good for slaughter classes.

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and
3rd stage 1000-1360 lbs most 1100.00-1350.00, some better quality from dis-
persals 1400.00-1475.00, 1st stage 1115-1360 lbs most 925.00-1025.00, couple
pkgs. blacks from dispersals 1275.00&1325.00; broken mouth to aged 3rd stage
1070-1315 lbs 865.00-1090.00. Large 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd
and 3rd stage 1375-1600 lbs most 1265.00-1500.00, couple pkgs. blacks 1600.00-

calves and most cows rebred 1625.00-1850.00. Large 1-2  3 yr 1395 lb cow w/165
lb calf 1450.00. Medium and Large 2  5 yrs to short and solid mouth 1095-1150
lb cows w/baby calves 1100.00-1185.00. Medium 1-2  3-6 yrs 875-1025 lb cows
w/newborn to 160 lb calves 1150.00-1200.00.
