Three people were seriously injured on a single-vehicle crash that took place on Farm Road 1100 about two miles northeast of Monett.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday when the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet 1500, Dustin M. Turner, 24, of Kansas City, lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the left side of the roadway before striking a driveway and a fence and overturning several times.
Turner and a passenger in the vehicle, Ernest L. Smith, 21, of Noel, both sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Cox Hospital South in Springfield. Another passenger, Eric F. McBride, 29, of Weir, Kan., also sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
None of the occupants were wearing a seat belt.
