   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 lower. Several dispersals were included
in the offering and demand was very good for the bred cows from those herds.
Supply was moderate and demand good for slaughter classes.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd
stage 1080-1330 lbs most 1100.00-1375.00, several better quality from dis-
persals 1400.00-1675.00, 1st stage 965-1310 lbs most 1000.00-1075.00, pkg.
black and black white-face from a dispersal 1450.00; broken mouth to aged
2nd and most 3rd stage 1120-1280 lbs 1025.00-1210.00. Large 1-2  5 yrs to
short and solid 2nd and 3rd stage 1400-1550 lbs 1200.00-1525.00; broken mouth
3rd stage 1375-1445 lbs 1135.00-1175.00. Medium and Large 2  7 yrs to short

some w/newborn calves 1300.00-1310.00. Medium 1-2  short and solid mouth to aged
965-1050 lb cows w/newborn to 110 lb calves 900.00-1025.00.
