A Saturday movie matinee event will be held at the Monett Branch Library on Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. The next Wii gaming event at the Monett Branch Library will be held Thursday, March 1 at 4 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend. Parents must sign a permission form available at the front desk for children to participate.

New adult fiction titles available at the Monett Branch Library include: "The Crown" by Nancy Bilyeau; "Country of the Bad Wolfes" by James Carlos Blake; "Fool Moon" by Jim Butcher; "A Life of Joy" by Amy Clipston; "All That I Am" by Anna Funder; "Midnight in Austenland" by Shannon Hale; "I've Got Your Number" by Sophie Kinsella; "Chasing the Sun" by Tracie Peterson; "The Wolf Gift" by Anne Rice; "This Beautiful Life" by Helen Schulman; "Child 44" by Tom Rob Smith; "The Comatose Cat" by Sandy Dengler; "Down the Darkest Road" by Tami Hoag; "Private Games" by James Patterson; and "Restless in the Grave" by Dana Stabenow.

New non-fiction titles include: "Dreams and Nightmares" by Britta Waldschmidt-Nelson; "The Quest" by Daniel Yergin; "Your Medical Mind" by Jerome Groopman; "The Vow" by Kim Carpenter; "The History of Space Vehicles" by Tim Furniss; "OMG Pancakes!" by Jim Belosic; "Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey" by Fiona; "Countess of Carnarvon, The Unconquered" by Scott Wallace; and "American Sniper" by Chris Kyle.

New youth titles include: "The Gardener" by S.A.
