During the evening of Sept. 10, the class gathered at Monett City Park for a formal dinner at the casino. Dinner was provided by Maggie Mae's, of Miller. Music for the event was provided by Nick with All That Music.
Dr. Betsy Garrett was the master of ceremonies. She led the class on a journey through history, reminiscing about many memories from the classmate's years. She presented a history of the Monett Park Casino building and what it has meant to the class since this reunion would be the last one held in the building.
Garrett spoke about many teachers of the past and spent some time reflecting on the loss of 14 classmates, followed by a time of silence in their memory.
