   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 4.00-6.00 higher and slaughter
bulls sold 3.00 higher. A majority of the offering went to slaughter and in-
cluded a high percent of cull dairy cows. As the national cow herd shrinks more
slaughter buyers are coming to this area to fill their needs. The offering of
bred cows and cow/calf pairs was light. Supply was moderate and demand very
good for slaughter classes.
