A three-vehicle crash on Highway 60 near Verona on Saturday night left six Cassville residents injured.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:25 p.m. about three-fourths of a mile west of Verona when the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck, Jessie G. Kanne, 24, of Marionville, crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Robert D. Day, 56, of Cassville, head on.
Debris from the crash then struck a 2007 Honda van, driven by James B. Barnes, 42, of Springfield.
All the passengers in the Day vehicle were injured in the crash. They included Clifford M. Butterfield, 18, Austin Clancy, 16, Evan N. Cowfer, 14, Paula S. Day, 57, Cody R. Deleplank, 15, and Robert Day, all of Cassville.
Robert Day's injuries were listed as serious while Butterfield, Clancy, Deleplank and Cowfer suffered moderate injuries and Paula Day had minor injuries. Kanne and Barnes were not injured in the crash.
All the injured parties were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
The Patrol report indicated that everyone involve din the crash were wearing their seat belts.
