Jessie Leigh Bridges, 25, of Aurora, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. She was born on Feb. 21, 1986 in Claremore, Okla., the daughter of Betty (Woodard) Bridges, Aurora, the late Joe Wayne Bridges Sr., and step-father Ron Haga, of Aurora, and he survives.
She was of Catholic faith, loved to bowl, dance, and watch movies. She volunteered at the library in Aurora, went to Camp Barnabas every year and was a member of the Knuckle Head Fan Club.
Jessie is survived by her mother: Betty, and step-father, Ron Haga, of Aurora; four brothers: Jamie Bridges, Aurora; Joe Wayne Bridges Jr., Camdenton, Mo.; Jasin Rice, Springfield, Mo.; and Douglas Bridges, State of Maine; two best friends in life: Lori Hoyt, and Scarlett Bridges; pets: Sammie and Maggie, Lucy, Lilly, and Shemp; and several aunts and uncles.
Jessie was preceded in death by her father, Joe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Mo. Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett with Rev. Charlene Dart officiating. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Okla.
