Concert to benefit Purdy community projects

The Purdy Renewal Project and the Purdy High School Spanish Club will be hosting a community benefit concert at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 in the Purdy High School gymnasium.

The concert will feature music from local musicians, with some Purdy students and teachers performing as well. Those scheduled to perform are Levi Roden and Wyatt Clevenger, as well as local groups Flying Buzzards and Youth Alive.

Concessions will be available, and a drawing will be held with chances to win an assortment of prizes. The grand prize winner of the drawing will receive tickets to a Branson show.

Admission to the concert will be free, however donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go toward improvements to the Purdy City Park and other upcoming community projects.
