The Harlem Ambassadors will take on the Habitat Hometown Heroes at the Cassville High School gymnasium on Saturday, Feb. 11. The event, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., will raise funds for Habitat For Humanity of South Barry County.
"At our shows, we want the kids to know that they're part of our team too," said Harlem Ambassadors coach Lade Majic. "We invite as many kids as we can to come sit on the bench, have a front row seat during the show and get involved in all the fun stuff we do."
The Harlem Ambassadors will show off their Harlem-style basketball skills, including slam dunks, ball-handling tricks and comedy routines. Their shows offer positive messages for children and families.
The Habitat Hometown Heroes will include over 20 local community members.
Advanced tickets are $7 and can be purchased at several different Cassville area businesses. Tickets will also be available at the door for $8. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be admitted for $5. Children in kindergarten through sixth grade will be admitted at no cost with a paid adult admission.
