The Purdy Lady Eagles basketball team earned a 68-38 victory over Jasper Friday night.

The Lady Eagles dominated the game from start to finish, outscoring Jasper 20-8 in the first period and leading 42-21 at halftime.

"It was a good night," said Purdy coach Grant Young. "We had a week off and came into the game with fresh legs. We moved the ball up and down the floor really well."

Rachel Bausinger led Jasper with 14 points. Larissa Atnip chipped in 13 points.

Scoring for Purdy were: Addy Roller, 31; Tayler Moller and Mattie White, 9 each; Billie House, 7; Katie Hughes and Rachael Neill, 6 apiece; Jayse Henderson, 4; and Kristyn Cornman, 3.

Purdy travels to Verona Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
