There was standing room only during the 10th annual Dining for Diabetes fundraiser that took place at the Lawrence A. Witt Pierce City National Guard Armory last Saturday. This year's event, "Hooray for Hollywood," took in approximately $27,000 for the CoxHealth Foundation and will be used to promote awareness and education for residents in Barry and Lawrence counties with diabetes. Nancy Ridgley, Cox Monett Hospital's certified diabetes educator and director of community wellness, was honored for 10 years of volunteering at the annual Dining for Diabetes event that helps raise diabetes awareness and provides education for residents in Barry and Lawrence counties.
