The Pierce City Library has two new books on tape. They are: "A Devil is Waiting" by Jack Higgins and "Copper Beach" by Jayne Ann Krentz.

New DVDs include: Carolina Moon; The Best of the 80s: Magnum P.I.; Cutback; One Life, One Decision; and Yuma.

New adult fiction titles include: "To Die For: A Novel of Anne Boleyn" by Sandra Byrd, large print edition; "Revenge at Bella Terra: a Scarlet Deception Novel" by Christina Dodd, large print edition; "Believing the Lie" by Elizabeth George; and "Changes: Collegium Chronicles, Book Three" by Mercedes Lackey, large print edition.

For Louis L'Amour readers the library has added eight titles that include: "The Rustlers of West Fork: a Hopalong Cassidy Novel;" "Bendigo Shafter;" "Taggert;" "War Party;" "To the Far Blue Mountains;" Ride the River;" "The Quick and the Dead;" and "The Rider of the Ruby Hills."

The next Bookworm meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Preschool Story Time and Lap Time meet every Tuesday at 10:30 and 11 a.m.

Children have recently learned more about winter with projects. They tore strips of aluminum foil to glue on black paper to make icicles and icebergs.

On Feb. 14, both groups will be combined at 10:30 a.m. for a Valentine's Day party. There will be a sign-up sheet for treats.

The library is located at 101 N. Walnut. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
