Color guard honored

Hobbs-Anderson American Legion Post #91 extended special recognition to the color guard with the Junior ROTC at the Southwest Area Career Center (SWACC) for its public service at many community events. In the photo above, Commander Ron Branum and Vice Commander Dan Musgrove, who also serves as youth chairman, presented a certificate of appreciation to First Sergeant John Marbut with the SWACC program. Pictured below, from left, are: Barry Lenhart and Matthew Kelly, Monett freshmen Color Guard members; Kristian Magallanes, Aurora junior Color Guard member; and Anthony Benavidez and Nicholas James, Monett sophomore Color Guard members.

1SGT Marbut was one of my drill sergeants at E-2-4 back in '82. Looking good 1SGT!!!
