Broadway Nights returns in 2012

January offers a new opportunity for Broadway Nights in downtown Monett. Merchants are staying open late this Friday, Jan. 13 followed by live entertainment at the coffee houses.

Clothing merchants have their winter inventory available with numerous sales underway. At Peppers and Company, warm robes are on sale. Remaining seasonal accessories and clothes are up for clearance.

At Westco, a closeout sale on bedding, some recliner models and year-end clearance is underway. To start off the new year, Blessings Books and Gifts has a New Year "New You" sale on books and items to start off 2012.

Bruner Pharmacy is offering a head start on Valentine's Day items. Deep discounts are available on Christmas materials.

The Yellow Frog Company has a birthday party for children on Friday. Owner Amy Tennison will be working on heart-shaped pendants for next month and will have refreshments available.

Live entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. Leon Troyer will make his first appearance at Mocha Jo's. He will sing selections from his first CD, "The Common Man's Highway."

At Denali Dreams, Angela Bennett will perform at 7 p.m.

Broadway Nights offers an opportunity for an old-fashioned night on the town, meeting friends and shopping after normal business hours.
