The next "Teen Night at the Library" event will be held Thursday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. Teens interested in volunteering for the library are encouraged to attend to learn more about how they can help.

To observe "National Popcorn Day" those attending will also be served popcorn. The next "Family Movie at the Library" event will be held Thursday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m.

New adult fiction titles available at the Monett Branch Library include: "Larry Bond's Red Dragon Rising" by Larry Bond; "Love in a Nutshell" by Janet Evanovich; "Plantation" by Dorothea Benton Frank; "A Devil is Waiting" by Jack Higgins; "The Rose of Sebastopol" by Katharine McMahon; "Breakdown" by Sara Paretsky; "Theft of Swords" by Michael Sullivan; and "Cobra Gamble" by Timothy Zahn.

New non-fiction titles include: "I Love You a Thousand Ways" by David Frizzell; and "Jackie O on the Couch" by Alma H. Bond.

New children and youth titles include: "Too Many Dinosaurs" by Mercer Mayer; "Luna the Moon Wolf" by Adam Blade; and "The Mystery in Venice" by Edizioni Piemme.

New DVDs include: Dolphin Tale, Hidalgo, and Kung Fu Panda 2.
