The Monett communications division of the Police Department will hold two meetings about emergency dispatching services during the first week in January.
The quarterly meeting of the Monett 911 Advisory Board will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at the Monett Justice Center.
Board members will discuss ongoing efforts by OnPoint to audit the system's data base of customers. A letter in response from AT and T will be reviewed.
Dispatching Supervisor Bonnie Witt-Schulte will provide a report on the number of land lines in the system. Quarterly meetings with the Barry-Lawrence Ambulance District, bi-county 911 directors and fire chiefs will be discussed, in addition to an update on activity by the Missouri General Assembly.
Dispatching staff, Monett Fire Department and Barry-Lawrence Ambulance District representatives will meet at 9 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2012, to discuss mutual aid.
Both meetings are open to the public.
