It's going to be a very Merry Christmas for some area residents in need this holiday season. For the fifth year, AmeriCorps Purdy Reading Coaches have volunteered to pack Christmas food baskets at Crosslines in Monett. This year's effort will benefit approximately 300 recipients. AmeriCorps volunteers are pictured above. In the front row, from left, are: Theresa Beaty, Stacy Stevenson and Renae Neill. Second row: Maxine Gray, Misty Roller and Charity Reid. Third row: Barbara Allen, Terri Garrison and Candi Kimzey. Not pictured are former AmeriCorps volunteers Rowdy Johnson and Tami Reid, who helped pack the baskets.
