Several upcoming events are planned at the Monett Branch Library through the end of the year.

The next Teen Night will be a Cocoa and Christmas Crafts event to be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15.

A "Book to Movie" event is planned at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. The movie is newly released to DVD and is based on a popular book. On Thursday, Dec. 29, the library will hold a winter movie marathon.

New adult fiction titles include: "Micro" by Michael Crichton; "Turnabout's Fair Play" by Kaye Dacus; "Wishes and Stitches" by Rachael Herron; "Triangles" by Ellen Hopkins; "The River Queen" by Gilbert Morris; "A Place Called Trinity" by Delia Parr; "Explosive Eighteen" by Janet Evanovich; and "Well-Tempered Clavicles" by Piers Anthony.

New non-fiction titles include: "Missouri at Sea" by Richard Schroeder; "Straight Talk About Schools Today" by Judy Molland; and "The Mom Book Goes to School" by Stacy DeBroff.

New youth titles include: "Destined" by P.C. Cast; "The Case of the Mysterious Voice" by John R. Erickson; and "Seizure" by Kathy Reichs.

New DVDs include The 12 Dogs of Christmas; Alabama Moon; By Dawn's Early Light; The Christmas Blessing; Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides; Resurrection and Turtle: The Incredible Journey.

New CD books include V is for Vengeance and Kill Alex Cross.
