Couple exchange wedding vows

Dep and Latricia Davis, of Monett, announce the marriage of their daughter, Brittany Kaleigh, to Andrew Thomas Welters, son of Tom and Neva Welters, of Monett.

The bride is a 2007 Monett graduate and a 2011 graduate of Drury University. She received a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry. The groom is a 2007 Monett graduate and is currently employed by Meeks Lumber, of Monett.

The wedding was held on June 4 at the First Baptist Church in Monett with Rev. Paul Walhert officiating.

The wedding party included: Kelsey Henson, best friend of the bride, who served as maid of honor; and Kaylie Meeks and Erin Gasser, both friends of the couple, who served as bridesmaids.

Tyler Swope served as the best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Davis, brother of the bride, and Dennis Ray, friend of the groom.

The flower girl was Noelani Welters, niece of the groom, and the ring bearer was Vincent Welters, cousin of the groom. Door greeters were Shana Paulsen and EmiLee Davis, both cousins of the bride. The ushers were Matthew Welters, brother of the groom, and Gary Welters, cousin of the groom.

A reception followed the ceremony at the First Baptist Church multi-purpose building in Monett. An ice cream bar with various toppings was served by Mary Blinzler, Stacy Tottingham, Crystal Judy, Pearl Davis, Genesis Paulsen and Kristi Hayes. The cake was made by Jessica Velton, and other refreshments were made by Pearl Davis.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple currently reside in Monett.
