Members of the Monett Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors took their turn on Tuesday evening staffing the Elf Hut at Monett's South Park, distributing candy canes and collecting donations from visitors to the Festival of Lights.
More board members took the evening's second shift. Serving at the Elf Hut has become a popular holiday activity, attracting over 100 volunteers for the five weeks of duty.
The Festival of Lights lighting display will remain open nightly through the last week in December from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
