December brings the colors and spectacle of the holiday season. December Calendar Girl Chloe Ridgley got into the spirit at Kay's Floral Affair in Monett. The daughter of Nancy Ridgley and Frank Ridgley, Chloe is a busy senior at Monett High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and Book Club, and has taken seven advanced placement classes. Chloe is manager of the wrestling team, a 13-year member of the Monett Water Thrashers swim team, a three-year member of the Jasper County Killer Whales-USA swim team, an 11-year dancer with the Mary Beck School and a member of First Baptist Church in Monett. She volunteers with the Special Olympics program, Dining for Diabetes and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. Her hobbies include spending time with family and close friends, reading, playing with Lucas, her nine-month-old nephew, cuddling with her Yorkie, Annia, visiting new places, cooking and spinning. Next fall, Chloe plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia and pursue a degree in pediatric nursing. [Times Photo by Murray Bishoff]
