Carthage-Joplin Regional Stockyards: Cow and Bull Auction Close for 11/30/11

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 3.00-4.00 higher and
slaughter bulls sold 4.00 higher with some high-dressing bulls 5.00 higher.
Slaughter buyers indicate we may have turned a corner on the slaughter cow
supply. There were some good quality bred cows and cow/calf pairs in the
offering and demand was good for take-home cows with several additional
buyers in the market today. Supply was heavy and demand very good for
slaughter classes.
