   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher and slaughter
bulls sold 4.00 higher. A very high percent of the offering went to slaughter.
The supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs was extremely light with most of
those traded 5-6 years of age. Supply was moderate and demand good for
slaughter classes.

88.50-93.00; 3-7 yrs 840-1175 lbs 52.00-62.00.

Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  3 yrs to short and solid mouth 2nd and
3rd stage 1120-1330 lbs most 820.00-1025.00, several blacks 3rd stage
1085.00-1110.00, 1st stage couple 1020-1090 lbs 800.00-850.00; broken mouth
3rd stage couple 1275-1285 lbs 760.00-830.00. Medium and Large 2  7 yrs to
short and solid mouth 2nd and 3rd stage 1085-1090 lbs 685.00-750.00. Medium
1-2  3 yr 2nd stage 815 lb indiv. 750.00.

   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  5 yrs 1090-1310 lb cows w/175-300
lb calves and a few rebred 1125.00-1350.00, black whiteface cow w/445 lb
calf and rebred 1625.00; broken mouth 1100-1335 lb cows w/200-360 lb calves
and a few rebred 1150.00-1160.00, 1100 lb cow w/160 lb calf 900.00. Large 1-2
5 yr 1620 lb cow w/185 lb calf 1620.00.
