This Thanksgiving Day I wish to express my gratitude to two groups of "giving" people.
First, the members of the United Methodist Church who volunteered their time on Sunday morning, Sept. 11, to do repair work for anyone in need of a helping hand.
The second group includes too many to mention. They have volunteered to cook and serve meals at the Community Kitchen since last November. It's done wonders for our community spirit as it gives everyone a chance to share the love for one another, and that's the greatest reason to be thankful this season.
There is no thank you big enough but to say "God bless them, one and all."
