The Monett Branch Library invites parents and caregivers of preschool through kindergarten age children to participate in the state-wide Missouri Building Block Book Award. To participate, parents or caregivers can visit the library to read the 10 nominated picture books to the children, have them decide which book they want to vote for and then mark the ballot. Voting ends on Dec. 31, and the book receiving the most votes throughout the state will receive the award.
The next "Teen Night at The Monett Branch Library" event will be held Thursday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m. Teens are invited to come play a variety of board games and card games and enjoy refreshments. For more information about this event, contact the library.
