   Compared to last Monday, breaking and boning slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00
lower and lean cows sold steady while slaughter bulls sold 2.00 lower. A high
percent of the offering went to slaughter. Most of the bred cows traded were
in the 2nd stage and the supply of cow/calf pairs was light. Most of the area
received some much needed rainfall last evening and this morning with more in
the forecast. Supply was moderate to heavy and demand moderate for slaughter
classes.
