Bridget Ann Philyaw, 49, of Sarcoxie, MO, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at 5:55 p.m. at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was born on July 5, 1962, in Monett, MO, the daughter of Patty (Planchon) Coatney and the late Hank McGowen.
She is survived by her special friend, Eddie Murray, of Sarcoxie; mother Patty Coatney and husband, Jim, of Pierce City; two sons: Dustin Harp, of Cameron, MO, and Larry Harp, of Sarcoxie; one daughter: Danyel Caddick, of Aurora; six brothers: Troy Coatney, of Pierce City, Joey Coatney, of Monett, James Coatney Jr., of Monett, Buddy McGowen, of Monett, Jeremy Coatney, of Baxter Springs, KS, and Chris Coatney, of Pierce City; one sister: Barbara Bailey, of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a very special pet, Jazzie.
Bridget is preceded in death by her father, Hank.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett with Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating. Burial will follow services at Waldensian Cemetery in Monett, MO.
