Barry County Drug Court hosted another successful golf tournament at the Cassville Golf Course on Oct. 9. The event raised $3,661.71 for the successful local drug court program.
"We want to thank all those who donated to the tournament," said Johnnie Cox, Barry County prosecutor and a member of the Drug Court team. "It was all needed and very much appreciated."
Top golf honors went to the first place team in the championship flight, which included Brent Johnson, Stacie Johnson, Kim Cribbs and Joey Parr. The team was sponsored by SONIC.
Second place winners in the championship flight were John Urban, Fred Wood, Tim Ludwig and Willie Hendricks.
Winners in the A Flight were Dennis Ledgerwood, Marlee Edie, Casey Crass and Doug Nickle. Second place honors went to Jeff Reed, Gary Fields, Sheryl Cassidy and Brian Stehlik.
Other awards were presented to: Tom Prince, longest putt; and Kim Cribbs, closest to the pin and longest drive.
