Barnwarming candidates include: freshmen Makayla Sullivan and Robby Moody; sophomores Kirstin Strother and Alex Mareth; juniors Brittany Hayes and Heath Burnside; and seniors Katie Clay and Tyler Lowery.
The Purdy FFA is hosting its annual Barnwarming on Friday, Oct. 28 with a Chili Cook-Off starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by gamesat 7 p.m. and a dance to follow.
The Chili Cook-Off is sponsored by the FFA Alumni, and there are three categories that will be judged: mild, hot and "knock-your-socks-off" with an overall prize being awarded.
The meal is $5 all you can eat with homemade ice cream for dessert.
Anyone wanting to participate in the chili contest needs to enter by 5:30 p.m. that night.
