City announces new hires

Wednesday, October 19, 2011

The City of Monett has made a number of employment changes over the past quarter, according to Lisa Crawford, assistant city clerk.

Darlene Pendergraft retired on Aug. 31 as custodian for the utility warehouse, public works and the Monett Community Building. She has not been replaced.

Ginger Dohmen left her position as a collection clerk on July 8. Rayetta Tate started as her replacement on Aug. 15.

Keith Mills, who has worked part-time at the cemetery for more than five years, has been moved to full time.

John Hull, Dakota Pendleton, Derek Zebert and Markus Campbell have been hired as volunteers with the Monett Fire Department, bringing volunteer numbers to full strength.

Two seasonal cemetery workers left their jobs for the year in August.

The seasonal workers at the golf course and one part-time worker at South Park will continue to work until late October until Nov. 1, Crawford said.
