Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 11:35 a.m. on Friday two miles east of Monett on Highway 60. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Jeffrey Duncan, 36, of Norman, Okla., collided with the rear end of a 1995 Ford pickup, driven by Robert Fisher, 42, of Pierce City, that was attempting to make a left turn. Duncan received minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment. Fisher and his passenger, William Fisher, 45, of Pierce City, both received minor injuries and were taken to Cox Hospital South in Springfield for treatment. The Fisher vehicle is shown above while responders from the Monett city and rural fire departments provided assistance. All the parties involved were wearing seat belts, the Patrol reported.
