   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls sold 1.00-
2.00 higher.  Most of the offering went to slaughter with only a light supply
of bred cows mostly in the 2nd stage and a very light supply of cow/calf
pairs.  The type and quality of most cows in today’s offering would indicate
producers are attempting to clean up their herds to match forage supplies.  
Supply was heavy and demand moderate for slaughter classes.
