A Monett man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at midnight on Route WW three miles west of Madry when the driver of a 1994 Polaris 400 ATV, Kevin P. Tully, 35, of Monett, turned over in the roadway.
Tully was airlifted to St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was not wearing safety equipment.
* A Carthage woman sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle wreck that took place on Friday. The wreck occurred at 8:25 p.m. on Interstate 44 one-10th of a mile west of Halltown when the driver of a 1997 Ford F150 pickup, Cheryl A. Jones, 54, of Carthage, took the wrong exit and skidded off the highway, struck a road sign and then an embankment. Jones was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. She was wearing a seat belt.
* A Miller man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle on Friday. The crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Route UU two miles north of Phelps when the driver of a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle, Ryan L. Underhill, 26, of Miller, swerved to avoid a cow in the road, lost control and overturned in the roadway. The driver and vehicle then slid into a ditch. Underhill was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
* A Neosho woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The crash took place at 1 p.m. on Holly Road two miles north of Neosho when the driver of a 1996 Chrysler van, Remigo Valasquez-Lopez, 41, of Monett, attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection and was struck by a 2007 Pontiac G6, driven by Jessica L. Barnes, 22, of Neosho. Barnes was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin with minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
