The Pierce City Branch Library has added one title to the adult non-fiction, "Mini-Farming: Self Sufficiency on a 1/4 Acre" by Brett Markham.

New titles in adult fiction include: "The Tale of Castle Cottage: The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter" by Susan Wittig Albert; "Deeply Devoted" by Maggie Brendan; "The Shadow of a Noose" by Ralph Compton; "The Race" by Clive Cussler; "Dark Predator: a Carpathian Novel" by Christine Feehan; "Prey" by Linda Howard; "The Mercy" by Beverly Lewis, in large and regular print; "Only Forever" by Linda Lael Miller; "The Call" by Yannick Murphy; and "Platte River Gauntlet" by Jon Sharpe.

New young adult titles for tweens and teens are: "The Scorch Trials" by James Dashner; "Sydney and the Wisconsin Whispering Woods" by Jean Fischer; and "Kate's Vermont Venture" by Janice Hanna.

Upcoming display case items will include pumpkins decorated by preschoolers in October, and in November, the library is looking for something from the community.
