Ralph F. Henderson, 92, of Monett, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at 6 a.m. at Benchmark Healthcare, in Monett. He was born on Oct. 31, 1918 in Purdy, MO, the son of the late Ben and Gertie (Inman) Henderson. He was united in marriage in March of 1936 in Loma Linda, CA to Anna Imogene Mullins, she survives.
He was retired from Jumping-Jack Shoes in Monett. He also built the store in Easyville in 1941 and helped in his son's garage. He was a charter member of the Easyville Fundamental Methodist Church.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Anna Imogene; four sons: Ben Henderson, Monett; Keith Henderson, Monett; Mike Henderson, Monett; and Greg Henderson, Monett; one daughter: Colleen Evans, Monett; one sister, Maxine Robison, Monett; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Ben and Gertie; one son: Billy Henderson; one daughter-in-law: Marilen Henderson; five brothers: Erskil Henderson, Chester Henderson, Chelsey Henderson, Oren Henderson, and Alva Henderson; one sister: Maxine Robison; two granddaughters: Elizabeth Jones and Master Sgt. Norma Barnes; and one great-grandson, Austin Jones.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO with Rev. Arnold Ray Evans and Rev. Leroy Pugh officiating. Burial to follow services at Bethel Cemetery in Monett.
