"We were frustrated at the plate today, but you have to credit Cassville's pitchers for hitting their spots," said Monett Head Coach Ty Goetz. "We'll always take a win, no matter how it comes. But, we need to improve from this."

Jessica Harper went one for two for Monett with a run scored. Brooke Burnside was one for one at the plate with two walks and a single. Ratliff finished one for three with a run scored.

The Lady Cubs will be in action next Tuesday as they host Lamar. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m.
