Positive behavior support (PBS) is a new strategy underway this week at Monett Elementary School, To help children learn concepts, theme days have been planned as part of a week-long "boot camp."

On Tuesday, both students and teachers dressed up like superheroes. The key word for the day was "respectability." Wednesday is team sports day, when everyone will be encouraged to dress in their favorite sports team's regalia.

Counselor Leslie Henry said special wrist bands are also available for students to earn through the day as they demonstrate the concept.
