Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held by the Monett Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors for a shuttle bus with a wheelchair lift acquired by Arc of the Ozarks in Monett.
The van was purchased with grant money from the Missouri Department of Transportation. Jolynn Kelleher, human resources manager for Arc, wrote the grant application after taking a grant writing course through Drury University in Monett.
The van is ready for use and will go into service once staff receive training to use it, said John Foley, president and chief executive officer of Arc of the Ozarks.
