Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 08/19/11

The USDA crop production estimates were released late last week
and estimate an average of 2.80 tons per acre of alfalfa.
Prediction of all other hay is at 1.70 tons per acre in Missouri.
Hay demand is light. Supply is moderate.  Prices are steady.
