Cynthia Marie (Modglin) Lopez, age 48, of Mt. Vernon, died at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the IOOF Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Following the graveside service, a reception for family and friends in Cindy's honor, will be held at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Vernon Christian Church. The Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home has conducted arrangements.
