   Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher with in-
stances 3.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 higher on a light
supply.  Slaughter buyers indicate the slaughter cow supply has started to
tighten up.  A couple small dispersals were included in the offering which
provided a light supply of quality bred cows and cow/calf pairs.  Much of the
area received some rain in the last twenty-four hours bringing relief from
the brutal temperatures of last week.  Supply was light and demand moderate
for slaughter classes.

Large 2  4 yr 1000 lb cow w/baby calf 875.00. Medium 1-2  2-5 yrs 750-990 lb
cows w/babies to 400 lb calves and a few rebred 1000.00-1210.00.
